WINE NOTES:Aromas of ripe apricots and rose water with a rich, lush palate of honeyed fruit and Turkish delight. The 2010 Viognier Tardi exhibits great balance and full flavours coupled with an oily texture. This wine will go well with blue cheese and full flavoured desserts.

VINIFICATION: 100% Late Harvest Viognier from la collina vineyard. The second vintage of this wine, the other being 2007. Late harvested and botrytised Viognier fruit was handpicked, and gently whole bunch pressed to yield the small, concentrated volume typical of fruit of this nature. After settling the juice was fermented with indigenous yeast in seasoned oak barriques. The alcohol/sugar balance was decided by nature with the fermentation stopping naturally leaving around 100 g/l residual sugar.
